Opal Auctions Forum Members Group Build
Special thanks goes to DaveCzar, A Verified seller on opal auctions who donated a beautiful piece of boulder opal to this group build that measures 27.7mm x 14.25mm x 4.62mm thick. Here are some pictures before mounting.
I'm going to trace around the stone and make a nice place for the stone to set into and I will probably wire it in for fun, Visions of silver tear drops of various sizes which I hope Iceopals might volunteer for at some point as this build journeys on....
I couldn't resist adding a few pictures from my messy work area. Usually it's not this cluttered.Now thats one project off of my workbench and that pile of opal seam potch along with the pile on the floor is the next 3-5 projects, I got those tailings from GemOpal, 4-kilos worth and wow there is some nice color in those seams. Get Ready Mike, It's coming to ya. It is in the mail!!
