Group Build
This piece of art that the members of Opal Auctions Forums are doing will be for fun and the money that will be raised from it's auction will more than likely be donated to a charity that has yet to be determined. Each person will use his or her talent to add something to it. Photographs will be taken and posted on this page as the build progress's. Here is where it starts and what it is starting with:
The stone is a Koroit opal, Natural Solid from Colourmine Opals A verified seller on Opal Auctions.com. It measures 39.6 x 23.6mm and weighs 51cts. I wrapped it in Sterling silver square wire, approx. 3 1/2 ft of wire.
The last item I have to do is put it on a Base and This will happen over the next day, then it will be ready for the next artist.
