Bucket of Australian Opal...
Some of the photos are taken while wet and some are dry.
Once I'm done polishing this layer, and carefully removing it after soaking it in a bucket of water for a couple of days, I will be going after that dark seam which shows signs of green color. That layer goes through the stone and it's area covers the entire stone. That layer is about a 1/2 inch below the top and can be seen around the entire stone. Be watching for updates, cause there is more to come.
